Privacy & Phone Number Notice

Who this notice is from

This website (ucheandchime.live) is a private wedding site for the marriage of Uche & Chime. It is operated personally by the couple and their family — not by a business — solely to coordinate the wedding celebration.

What we collect

• Your name and household — so we can match you to your invitation.
• Your phone number — used only to look up your invitation and, if you opt in, to send RSVP reminders or wedding updates.
• Email address (optional) — used to send your RSVP confirmation and important updates.
• Your RSVP response — who is attending, which events, and any notes you share with us.
• Prayers, blessings, contact messages, and gallery uploads — only what you choose to submit.

Phone number policy

We take the trust of sharing a phone number seriously. Here is exactly how yours is used:

• Invitation lookup. Your number is the key we use to find your household on the RSVP page. It is stored in a standardized format (e.g. +1 followed by 10 digits) so that spacing and punctuation don't affect matching.
• Wedding-related messages only. If we ever text or call, it will be about this wedding — reminders, changes to times or locations, or a personal note from the couple.
• No marketing. No selling. No sharing. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your phone number with any third party for advertising or unrelated purposes.
• Opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any text, or email us and we will remove your number immediately.
• Message & data rates may apply from your mobile carrier for any texts you receive.

How your information is stored

• Guest details are kept in a private, access-controlled database behind row-level security. Only the couple and a small number of trusted family administrators can view them.
• Connections to this site are protected with HTTPS encryption.
• We use reputable service providers (hosting, database, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

Your information is kept only for as long as it is useful for the wedding and a reasonable period afterward for thank-you notes and memories. After that it will be deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to remove your data at any time.

Your choices

• Ask us what we have on file for you.
• Ask us to correct or update your information.
• Ask us to delete your phone number, email, or full guest record.
• Opt out of text or email reminders.

Children
